Here is what you can expect from this fund-raiser:
- Students asking for help will be polite, patient, and respectful.
- The chocolate is made by Kathryn Beich, the fundraising division of Nestle.
- The candy boxes contain an assortment of several Caramel, Almond, Dark Chocolate, and Crunch bars.
- Students may take a box of 50 candy bars, which will be sold for $1 each. Students are expected to sell the entire box; the Choir Department cannot accept partial box returns. Students will turn in all $50 to Mr. Barsch, preferably by check made out to OEHS Choir.
- $25 will go toward the student's tour account. The remaining $25 will pay for the candy.
- Most students take one box at a time. After selling that box and paying for it, they are encouraged to sell additional boxes. There is no limit to the number of boxes which may be sold.
- If they want additional boxes all at once, students must pre-pay. Students may only have one unpaid box in their possession at any one time. For example, if a student wants 3 boxes to take to a big family picnic, they should bring in $100 (one unpaid box and two pre-paid boxes) up front. They then sell those extra boxes to pay themselves back.
- As always, let me know if you have any questions or if an OEHS Choir student is acting inappropriately.
