The first Ch 4: Chords assignment is A-D in the workbook, page 27 only; You'll have Wednesday to work, & it'll be due Thursday. You won't have time to work Thursday, though. I'll probably lecture about chord inversions & maybe Roman Numerals that day. Also, don't forget about this week's eMusicTheory assignments!
Start reading Chapter 4 in your textbook. No additional assignments yet; I'll give those out Monday. Use the weekend to get caught up on old work, your eMusicTheory, or revising your Ch 3 A&B
For this chapter, you'll have workbook sections A&B due Thursday 9/12. Then, next week, you'll have sections C, D(1-3 only), F, G, & H. I've also added eMusicTheory assignments for September 16th, 23rd, & 30th.
We'll have lots of class time to work on this. It's a very important unit, and you need to get really good at intervals to be successful in later chapters. Honestly, if you get solid at Chapters 2, 3, & 4, the rest of the year is MUCH easier.
Keep up the good work everyone!
The Chapter 2 Quiz will be very similar to the "Test Yourself" pages 15-16 in the workbook. Don't forget, we are skipping modes for now. We'll come back to them later in the year. Just get good at:
