The Elmhurst College Music Department will be hosting CHORAL-AIDE for ILMEA on Sunday, September 29th, 2013. We will provide you with audition strategies, sight singing preparation tips, and a mock-audition experience for which you will receive immediate feedback. We feel that all of these sessions will prepare you for a better audition experience.
The proposed schedule for CHORAL-AIDE for ILMEA is as follows:
12:30 - Registration in Hammerschmidt Memorial Chapel
1:00 - Welcome & Warm-up with Susan Moninger, Director of Choral Activities
Performance of the renowned Elmhurst Concert Choir
Rehearsal of All-State Audition Music with Concert Choir
2:00 - Escorted Walk through our lovely Campus Arboretum to Irion Hall
2:15 - Sight Singing Clinic
3:15 - Sectionals with the Elmhurst College Voice Faculty
4:00 - Mock Auditions
5:30 - Audition Tips & Question/Answer Session
